Wall Display

Been looking at putting a display cabinet at the top of my stairs, to house more of my figures, but then my husband suggested converting the old airing cupboard into a display, so the need for large figure display is currently lessened. So what do with the wall… put a wall display ofc!

Ordered this on Amazon, built it on the same day I got it, then my husband kindly hung it on the wall for me.

I have a LOT of little stuff, so it was very easy to populate! The items on the second row of the display weren’t displayed anywhere yet – these are the Heroes of Might and Magic figures that were in the blind bags a number of blogs ago.

After many trips around the various rooms in the house, I have now populated it, and freed up display areas around the house (or made the displays tidier for now…)

I did suggest getting another one to go under the TV in the bedroom, but my husband doesn’t seem keen… Ah well.

Len Kagamine & Sam Flynn

Two figures that don’t really have anything to do with each other… but I opened both on the day of writing.

First up, Sam Flynn. Decided to pick him up at last, was one of the Disney Infinity figures I was pondering getting:

image

Here’s a closeup on his disc-holding hand. The scupltwork from this angle does look good:

image

And from the other side. His leg does look like it’s got an extra joint from this angle!

image

Overall, a good figure, especially for the price I paid. I wouldn’t want to pay a lot for them, so the clearance discounts on these figures has been nice.

Next up, Len Kagamine. I saw this figure on a Black Friday deal, but found it straight-up cheaper on Amazon UK. As I have a Prime trial right now, I got him the very next day after ordering. Here he is, out of the box:

image

D’awww. small and cute! He came in 3 pieces, plus the base. Not entirely sure why they didn’t package him assembled, lol. He even came with an instruction sheet, not that one is really needed!

Here is a shot of his right-hand side:

image

And one of his left:

image

And the obligatory back shot:

image

The figure is very nicely painted, and is the quality of a miniature scale. However he is tiny. I was expecting him to be small – after all, he was advertised as 1/12, but somehow getting him out of the box, he was still smaller than I thought:

image

Doesn’t exactly tower over the Infinity figure, but at least he has the quality of a larger scale put into the wash. I’d say he’s worth the RRP, but not much more. Largely, his price seems to have gone up in the aftermarket, but for his retail price, he’s a fine-if-small figure.

Non-genre Grab Box (S)

This was a box I got some time ago, which I started preparing a blog for, but never completed. So now I have my own blog, it’s time to post it 😀

Here is an overview of what the box contained:

image

This blog will be about the figures and Re-Ment sets.

Mickey Mouse

image

This was the “star item” of the box. Alas, this was not something I was particularly interested in, and has been sold.

Pikachu

image

A plushie pikachu. Something else I wasn’t interested in. Looks nice for what it is, but I’m not a Pokemon fan. Did try to sell it, but hasn’t sold thus far.

Hecatonchier

image

This is one of my favourite items from the box. Not truly familiar with the FF series, but this dude looks cool. And So. Many. Arms. It could sure give you a hand!

Baby Tiragon

image

As it was a preowned box, most of the random item boxes were already open, and this was one of the open ones. Out of the things on the box, this was the least ‘cool’, so wasn’t surprised to get it. It’s a decent enough figure, but probably not worth trying to sell, so it sits atop one of my detolfs.

Mothra Larva

Here’s the large packaging it came in:

image

And the thing itself:

image

Looked better when it was obscured by the packaging. I feel kinda sorry for anyone who won this in the Ichiban Kuji! You pays your money, you gets… your poop. It’s not very detailed, and has zero paintwork, which contributes significantly to it looking like an oddly shaped poop than a larva. It now lives amongst Poundland tat, and hasn’t eaten any of it, so I don’t see it mutating into Mothra any time soon.

Petit Sushi-Go-Round

image

These Re-Ment sets I didn’t initially open, but they sat around… so I opened them. All three were sealed. This one is a sushi set, and you can cut up the info sheet to put things on the screen. Not yet put anything on the screen, lol.

Toy Story Toy Carnival

image

This is probably my favourite of the three, as it’s toy story. Not much to say about it, but I do like the way the milkshake is Jessie-themed.

Rilakkuma Leisure Snack

image

Weirdly, this one wasn’t on MFC when I looked, and I’m not big into Re-Ments, so didn’t bother adding it. Is cute, but the bits just sorta hang around on the wardrobe shelf.

Ashens!

When Stuart Ashen came to Bristol… I finally had something for him to sign!

And being me, it had to be figure-related. I actually thought about this prior to another time of meeting him, but forgot to bring it with me – d’oh!

This time I did not forget:

image

Figure to the left is the “legit” version, and the signed one is a bootleg, which I originally bought as an experiment to whether I liked swimwear figures or not. Was on the fence about buying one, so decided to go the “cheap” route to see if it’d end up in the bin within a couple of weeks, with little money lost, or I’d buy the legit version if it was still displayed.

“Blimey” was Ashen’s reaction to seeing it:

image

It may have been one of the odder things he’s been given to sign. So now this bootleg won’t be hitting the bin, lol. Had a short chat with Stuart, and had Barry sign a note for my husband – wasn’t expecting Barry to be there, but knowing my husband is a fan, I brought him a li’l love note home ;).

Here’s Ashens being confused by swimsuit Saber:

image

I’ll let the reader decide what Mentski’s (guy on the left) is doing. Barry is wisely staying out of it.

Heroes of Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes

After I went to the Horror Con in Birmingham, we went for a quick jaunt through Gloucester to kill some time, whereupon I picked up this figure:

And her back:

A post to Reddit later, plus some research, I found out this figure was from a series of blind bags.

On returning home, I found I could buy a box of ‘em for a tenner. So the logical thing? Buy an entire box!

The box also shows what you can get:

Upon opening the first, I found out why these were being flogged off cheap – these are in the UK, and the cards that come with them are in Spanish and Portuguese. I can sorta read Spanish, so I can get the gist of what each character is supposed to be, and Google Translate the rest :P.

The instruction manual comes with two games you can play with these figures – the first is a simple vs game, where you basically battle cards. The second involves knocking characters over with the provided marbles (you get one marble with each figure). Especially because of the marble game, some of these figures are surprisingly hard to stand up,

So what did I get from the bags? Some dupes for sure! Let’s run through the teams, in the order on the above box.

First up is the Academy, who live in the City of Wisdom:

Got 4/6 of these.

The Necropolis, who live in the City of the Undead:

5/6.. one of two near-complete teams. The axe-wielding dudes you have to warm their hands up to get the axes in there.

Haven, from the City of Griffins and Men:

4/6. Interesting name they have for their city, lol.

Inferno, from the City of Demons:

2/6. Was reallllyy hoping for more of these guys! Though you know what I was saying about getting stuff to stand up? These are, by far, the worst offenders – they’re all leaning against the board in this shot ‘cos the buggers just wouldn’t stay put.

Finally, Silvan, from the City of the Elves:

5/6. Got a lot of these dudes too, but less dupes than the Necropolis set.

Do wish there were less dupes per box, but they’re obviously randomly packed. On the fence about getting more – some part of me would like a more complete set, especially because some of them that I’m missing do look cool, but on the other hand, I’m likely just to be drowning in more dupes!

Uh, anyone wanna trade some dupes?

Grab Box for Boys (S) – Figures

These are the figure items that were in the box.

Asuka Langley

image

Probably my favourite item in the box, initially I did have this without the stand, but she does kinda need it over time, so I clipped it to her. Got more used to it, and when posed right, it doesn’t show too much.

Sonsaku Hakufu

image

Only found the variant of this figure on MFC, and not a lot of pics elsewhere on the internet. Found out who she was via the copyright info on the base.

Ayase Eli

image

Had the fun of watching this thing wobble whilst I unboxed everything else! Not watched Love Live, so have no attachment to the character. Haven’t had any sensible offers for it, so she’s currently hiding out in a box.

Cagalli Yula Athha

image

Was a right arse to get on the base as the legs were bent in too much, and not the greatest paint job. She sits in one of my detolfs, and is part of a series of figures that I have now got three of, all from boxes of random.

Dizzy

image

I like the design of this character. She sits among some other petits in one of my detolfs.

Shamal

image

No familiarity with this character. Getting these things onto the base is a pain! The pegs on the base don’t really do the jobs pegs are supposed to do, and she fell apart once ><. Got there in the end though.

Sheryl Nome

image

Prone to some of the issues of the above figure, but is a character I’m mildly more interested in.

And that’s it for figures. Tomorrow will be the hangable/keyring items.

Sachiel-XX & Chibi Lotus

Now first for a figure I’ve been pondering buying for…. a looong time. Saw it come and go on Mandarake.. saw the price drop on Amazon for awhile, but then it started going back up, so I pulled the trigger and went for it:

image

Glad to finally have her, she mildly exceeded my expectations, which is good. She also came with two hands – the one with the blue rod through it, and one that matches her right hand. Yep, deffo going for the more exciting one.

Here’s her back:

image

Mildly shiny :). One wing balances on the support, other one doesn’t quite. Also… butt. That was a surprise butt 😛

And here’s a figure I got some time ago, and forgot to stuff in a blog… li’l chibi Black Lotus. Should’ve been posted in my Kuro-Lotus-a-thon!

image

She originally came with a magazine, and frequently is super-expensive. The price I paid was prolly a bit more than she’s really worth, but not gonna be deprivin’ me of food.

image

I did heat-treat some of her parts to get ‘em straight, swords looking a little bent in these photos, so may do those some day (not sure if I did originally). She has a bit more detail than I was expecting, and she stands well on her stand.

AmiAmi Mystery Box

This is the third mystery box I’ve got from AmiAmi, and probably the last one I’ll get for awhile, as I’ve spent rather a bit too much over the year, and this one was the weakest I’ve had. A bunch of this stuff will probably find its way to eBay/Facebook buy-sell on the run up to Christmas.

First up, the figures. This time all the figures were trading ones. Let’s start with one from a series I know, Fate:

image

She’s not a character I particularly have any feelings for

(Irisviel) but, hey, Fate/Zero!

Next up is a Gundam SEED Destiny blind-box character. These seem to keep popping up, and this is the third I’ve ended up with, Mayu Asuka:

image

As she’s the bonus extra figure, she came with a choice of two different left arms:

image

Here she is, clearly on the phone:

image

Paint quality really is quite derp on this one, so I can see why it got traded in.

Here’s a figure I know, but didn’t take out of the bags:

image

She’s Ranka Lee, from Macross Frontier. Looking at this figure on MFC, there’s a part missing. Not a very inspiring figure though, so she might get sold. hence me leaving it in the bag.

Next up, is a tiny figure I quite like. She’s apparently Shelby from Duel Maid:

image

Back:

image

She came with two different arm types. Originally she had both sword-holding hands, but she also has splayed ones. Here’s the two not equipped:

image

This is apparently Aisaka Taiga from Toradora!:

image

She’s cute, she’s catty and I like her. OK, maybe not cute.

Next up, some mecha character called Chiha:

image

I have a thing for mecha-ish things, so keeping this one:

Here’s her back:

image

Cat… mecha… human… yep, it has it all :P. Well, maybe not trousers. She seems to have forgotten those.

This is a K-ON! character called Nakano Azusa:

image

She looks OK, but I’ve never watched K-ON!, and not likely to change that, so may sell her on.

And last for the figures, Yagami Tama from something called Sasami-san@Ganbaranai

image

Yep. She’s a thing. Don’t have anything to say about this one.

And that’s it for the figures. Tomorrow, the non-figure items!

Post-Post-NORCON

After dinner on the same day, my husband got bored, so we went shopping. We arrived at a small shopping complex not long before Smyths shut. In my mad dash around Smyths, I picked up two items.

The first was a zombie chicken jokey:

image

He has a large clear plastic bit, to ensure it stands up, which is useful:

image

So not so aesthetically pleasing from the side, but I don’t find this to be an issue.

And the second was a Nano Metalfigs Harley Quinn:

image

For its size and price, it’s not a bad little figure. If I’m in the vicinity of a Smyths again, I might see if they have any of the other characters I like, but some do look rather suspect.

We also visited TK Maxx, and I picked up a Suicide Squad Joker figure, for a price I was willing to pay:

image

He looks OK, but does have a case of “wanking hand” and nothing to hold.

Here he is from the back:

image

Not too much to see here, but there is detailing on his jacket.

On the Sunday, we visited a Toys R Us, and I picked up a Domez blind bag. The figure I got was…:

image

Bane! My favoured ones would have been Catwoman and Joker, but Bane was a solid option. The sculpt on this is OK, but the paint job is a bit meh (see mostly his right hand…) The white mark is actually a bit of fluff on the dome, rather than a scratch.

Here’s his backside:

image

Bane currently lives as a dash ornament, and seems to stay still on the anti-slip matting, despite my husband’s driving…so he’ll stay there for the time being. Despite the paint job, I may pick up some more of these or the Deadpool ones if I see them at a reasonable price.

Post-NORCON goodies

After visiting NORCON, I went for a wander around Norwich.

On my winding way to a comic book shop that I had located via the use of Google Maps, I passed through several interesting shops. My first pickup came from an antiques store, but wasn’t very antique, with a copyright date of 2012:

image

He didn’t have a box, but he’s in good condition, and is the Marvel Select Avengers Movie Hulk. This figure manages to have a decent amount of “presence”.

Second thing was a

Silurian Warrior

from Cash Converters:

Not much of a Dr Who fan, but I do love some of the creature designs.

When I finally got to the comic book shop, they had a couple of the DC designer figures at a good price, and I chose to buy this one:

image

And turn him around….

image

Bwah!

For those who don’t like the Two Face meets Joker head, the “default” one was a much more normal head:

image

Side of the head:

image

I was also looking at a Harley Quinn, but the paint job on it was a bit suspect, so decided against it.

Box o’ Random Part 6

And now for the dregs! There was bound to be some broken/incomplete stuff, and here it is.

First up, not broken, but kinda cheapy – some Japanese warrior figures.

image

They’re not terrible, but they’re more kid’s toys than something to really display imo. They’ve been sent to the Drawer of Purgatory. Feel kinda sorry for the dude in the middle with his wilting sword.

The next item I initially thought was a decent item, but on closer inspection… not so much.

Here is Neptune from One Piece:

image

Unfortunately, on closer inspection, the pain on his large mane of hair is badly chipped:

image

Was considering listing this on eBay, but don’t really want to with the condition it is in.

Now for half-a-Akagi from Kan Colle:

image

No head in the box, so this is a bit pointless. I’ll keep the bits, just in case I can combo it with something at a later date.

Lastly, the body of Hiiragi Tsukasa from Lucky Star and a

Sound Capsule Gaia Memory of Ryuki. Nope, Hiiragi’s head doesn’t fit on Akagi’s body. I tried 😛

image

The sound box is made to look like a USB drive, but it very much isn’t. You can press the button at the bottom (raised bit near the “plug” end), and it will cycle through a bunch of sounds. Doing some research, this set came with some kind of candies/sweets, and there were others done as blind boxes.

Has annoy-o-tron potential, so it’ll get lost in a drawer somewhere. Or thrown at someone who professes a love for Kamen Rider.

And that concludes the Box o’ Random! There are a couple of items I haven’t covered, as I’ve listed them on eBay. The items are a couple of pin badges and a phone strap, from series I’ve not heard of.

Box o’ Random Part 5

And here we have the things I like, but have no idea what they are! Tried asking on MFC and Reddit, but no-one, as of writing, have identified what they are

First up, a pile of cute:

Copyright on this figure is listed as “GOE”.

Nex is a fox-inna-bowl, with some food on his head:

No copyright or anything on this one, so I assume it’s a random mass-produced item. He’s now dangling off one of my keyring & charm bars.

A badge of a girl:

No copyright on this one either, but being a pin-badge, it could quite well be something fan-made. Not sure I can go wearing this one in public though…

Box o’ Random Part 4

First up, two trading figures, of the same character – Meyrin Hawke from Gundam SEED Destiny:

image
image

Nothing much to write home about… second one looks like it has had its feet glued or re-glued to the base. Cleaned up some of the mess, but some residue remains. The hole is supposed to have a pole to stop her from leaning. She has leaned a bit, more than likely because the pole isn’t there. Mediocre painting job on the pair, so they’re just sat in random places.

Next three figures are from One Piece, which is a series I know of, but haven’t watched/read.

These guys are called Aokiji and Akainu:

image

These guys are still a little bit dirty, even after being cleaned. The dirt was really rather stubborn on these dudes. Really doesn’t help with their capes being white! Also Aokiji’s right arm has a habit of falling out, but I think I’ve got it to stay now.

Third dude is called Kame and is a… turtle?

image
image

This dude is nicely-made, and even has pegs on the stand to keep him upright. He’s been recently made (2016), and I think it shows in the quality of the figure. He is a prize figure, so the paint job isn’t 100%, but certainly good given that condition.

Box o’ Random Part 3

aHere’s more of the small items from the Mandarake box o’ random. First up, a couple of items from Kamen Rider. The first is a bottle cap & stamp figure, that was included in its box, and the second is Kamen Rider v3, who came with… ¾ of his box…

image

The rubber part on the bottom has a pattern you could potentially use for stamping on things, but I don’t think I’ll bother :P.

image

This little dude, the cardboard bits came as part of a TCG-type card, and you can pop them out and combine them in a couple of different ways. You can either use the to decorate the figure like this, or make a cardboard dragonfly. I was originally going to throw the box out, as there’s two round-ish holes ripped into it (… mouse ate it?) but it has the instructions on (fortunately the holes weren’t in any necessary instructions), so it’ll get filed away.

Next up, a Banpresto random-box figures of various maids. This one is a eCafe maid:

image

When I first got her out of the box, she was leaning at like a 60 degree angle… had to warm her legs up and straighten her. Also I damaged the sticker on the base, as it went in the sink with the rest of the stuff, as I didn’t realise it was a sticker. Kinda tempted to scrub the sticker off, as I think it makes the base look ugly though.

This next dude is apparently called Moguro Fukuzou. Apparently he’s a salesman from a manga, where he “helps” people with their desires, but instead ruins their lives. Apparently he’s well-known enough, he has his own TV Tropes page:

image

Sadly the sucker he comes with doesn’t work very well. I may just take it off, and have him just pointing, with his comically oversized finger.

And one last thing with a sucker:

image

A cat. Not much to say about this one. Has a couple of marks, probably because it really easily falls off stuff. Well-detailed and painted though, more so than thee things usually are. Bit of a pain to get stuck on anything, but it will do, with some perseverance.

Box o’ Random Part 2

So let’s start with the stuff from series I’ve watched/know about.

First up is a Sheryl Nome gacha figure (she’s from Macross):

image

I was considering buying this gacha figure on eBay at one point, think i was looking at an auction for this and some other Macross figures. She isn’t in pristine figure, but I don’t think the marks show up quite as clearly irl. Was a mild pain to put together with no instructions, but worth it :).

Next, a Nanoha Nendoroid Petit:

image

This one even came with the instructions! No box though. Her arms are a bit odd, and she doesn’t hold the weapon terribly well, so I can see why someone would want to trade this one in… but she’s still cute and lookin’ awesome, so decided to have her balance her weapon on her arm, instead of hold it 2-handed.

Alicia Testarossa, also from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha:

image

Never watched the series, but I do like the character designs. Have a feeling I wouldn’t be a fan of the show, but I’ll probably watch some of it at some point, as it seems pretty prevalent in the anime community.

Tiiiny little Vocaloid figure of Kagamine Len:

image

This teensy dude is about 3cm tall, and is sat on top of one of my monitors. Looks far nicer than the Poundland fodder he replaced (a Predasaur).

Shana from Shakugan no Shana:

image

Keep running into stuff from this series, but never consumed any of the media from it. Maybe I should put the anime on my to-watch list, lol.

And now a character from Bakemonogatari, another series I keep running into merch for, but haven’t researched/watched:

image

Love this little figure, nice and brightly coloured, with the autumnal theme. Her name is Sengoku Nadeko. Nearly thought she was just a “box remnant”, what with having no feet, until I found the base.

And here’s two things from an anime I’ve never heard of, that’s called “My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute”.

This is a character called Gokou Ruri, sat on a character called Comet-Kun:

image

… probably should have dusted it a bit before taking that pic.

And this is a character called Makishima Saori:

image

The first one I like, the second one is… OK. And that concludes this part of the box o’ random. Some nice selections of smaller stuff here, enough to be deffo not disappointed by this box.

Bag o’ Random Part 1

This post will cover the expected bits, plus an unexpected item, which pretty much made the box worth it on its own.

So what is this unexpected mystery item? A stand!

image
image

These Play Arts Kai stands can be quite useful, and tend to be pretty expensive to get a hold of on their own, so this one was a welcome addition, It also came with a few different sized “arms”, one of which I’ve used so I can set a figure further back on the shelf it is sat on. I don’t currently have any large figures in need of it, but I won’t be surprised if I eventually use it. It did come with one claw with the screws in, but I suspect it originally would have come with more screws & nuts. Not an issue for me, as I have a ton already, lol.

Next up, the Rei I saw in the packet… plus the Asuka that goes with her!

image

The Rei especially needed a good scrub. Looking closely at the Mandarake pic of the package, you can actually see Asuka’s feet sticking up. Super-happy this pair was in here, as they’re designed to go together and it’s Evangelion.

Photo showing Asuka more clearly:

image

Next up, the EVA-01 that I saw sticking out:

image

He’s got a bit of an interesting smooth and almost-soft plasticy texture to him. He has a limited amount of articulation, but is decently sculpted and painted. He seems to be too nice to be a bootleg (even the bottoms of his soles have been detailed and painted!), but no idea what he is, and couldn’t find him on MFC. On his leg he has the following: “© k.G”, and underneath that “B China 19131″.

And finally… what did that beach base belong to?

image

C.C. from Code Geass! She sells for around the same price as I bought the box for, so yeah, was worth it :). Though I did have to give her a good ol’ scrub down first, and there are some minor marks. With the ball, I have it white-tacked to her hand – I thought you were supposed to be able to wedge it in her hands, but it was, uh, not playing ball, so I just white-tacked it. After looking up pictures, I found out that there’s a stand for the beach ball, and it was actually included in the box. Not sure I’m going to bother with it though, as it looks a little naff.

Figure from another angle:

image

So that concludes the larger items in the box. Tomorrow, some of the smaller items in the box.

Small Miscellany!

Here’s some little bits that I’ve picked up, that probably don’t need a whole blog post of their own.

First up, two small bits from the Gloucester action figure shop, Mystique and a Lizard dude from Spiderman:

image
image
image

An Illidan figure from Blizzard’s Cute But Deadly range. Sadly didn’t come with the base, but fortunately he stands up on his own (was looking into modify a base for him, but he doesn’t really need it):

image
image

Love these little figures, but they were pricey! I’ve now got all the series 2 ones I want. Still may pick up a Kerrigan from series 1 if one comes up cheap enough, but not really mad over owning one (seeing as I don’t play SC).

And finally, a dog alien from Konami’s Alien series:

image

And that’s the last one of the Konami figures I wanted! Other ones I’m not so bothered about – mostly the ships, which go for a lot and I care less about them than the xeno ones. If I saw a ship one going cheap, I’d probably pick it up, but I’m not actively searching for them any more.

And that concludes my little stuff 😀

Gloucester Antique Centre

If one trip to Gloucester wasn’t enough…. I went again… the following week. Due to the rainstorms, I never got to go to the Gloucester New Antiques Centre, and still really wanted to go. Managed to talk my husband into going, and he wasn’t disappointed, lol. An amazing place with a lot of things and unexpected finds.

First up, I bought a Warcraft Mystery Mini. The box was sealed, but managed to get a character I’m happy with, Blackhand:

image
image
image

Neatly detailed, but deffo some sloppy paintwork on it (not really taken pics that shows the wandering paint blobs). I paid around half the going rate, which I think was a fair price to pay. I find the RRP a bit much to pay for these.

And the super-random finds… Evangelion merch!

First up

Nagisa Kaworu:

image
image

He’s supposed to come with a pole & clip, but this one didn’t have it. He doesn’t really need it though, and hasn’t leaned much. If he does, I’ll warm him up and give him a good straightening. He was on the stand backwards when I bought him, and turning him around made him stand up straighter… lol.

And a figure that I’ve seen online, that I’ve weirdly wanted, but couldn’t really justify getting imported, of Ikari Shinji:

image

A lesser quality than those in the Portraits range, but a rather stand-out trading figure, which is why I wanted to pick it up.

Gloucester Comic Con

Went to yet another con (yeah, bank balance miiight be lookin’ at me funny) and yep, bought some more stuff!

First up, we have Sylvanas, my favourite of the things I picked up. Been trying to find this online, and so few places are selling it… basically only eBay sellers, and none of the retailers would provide any info of if they have it in stock/will have it in stock. Plenty of Raynor, either for sale or pre-order but no Sylvanas! Fortunately I spied her at an OK price at the con, and just had to buy her:

image
image

Yeah, she’s a weird shade o’ blue, but other than that, she’s well-painted and sculpted. The cape came out better than I was expecting, and is a decent bit of material… not packed particularly well in the box though. I’m a bit of a sucker for Sylvanas so had to get this.

Next up, an alien warrior. Kinda wish I didn’t buy this, as it isn’t in great condition, so it gets to live in a slightly random corner:

image

Next up, a little Doc Oc:

image
image

Bought it from the same dealer I bought some stuff from in one of the other cons, he was cheap n’ cute, so picked him up.

And finally, Ursol from Dark Crystal (a Reaction figure):

image
image

And just to show her longitude:

image

Looking at the eBay sold listings, I paid a fair price for her. A nicely detailed figure, with the added bonus of it annoying my husband. who really dislikes the Skeksis. Is a little bit of sloppy painting if you look too closely, but on the whole a nice figure imo.

Dark Void

This figure I picked up just after the con at MT Games. Who also had a stall at the con.
